Asia Entertainment City

is a building where nightclubs and karaoke bars are placed over several floors, each of them again with plenty of girls, this is a men's world, and a nice one, trust me.

Amazingly there are almost no tourists also no Asian guys, here is everything still very domestic brewed. But people are from all corner of the country which is no wonder considering that the whole is as big as England and France combined and there is plenty of money around. The problem is that this is not evenly distributed, some have a lot, others have almost nothing. If the British wouldn't have messed up Burma long time ago it would be totally different today. Anyway it's getting better slowly but unfortunately they people of today (2013) just starting censorship gain, just like the military before.

The city is home to the most active nightlife in the country and that is truly unique compared to other places in the region. With chic nightclubs and trendy cocktail bar but also with rotten places which still have their oriental charm with dancing, live music, entertainment and maybe a romance with a pretty Burmese lady, there is plenty to discover and explore.

A good place to kick off is the Zero Zone Rock Restaurant at Theingizay ( Theingyi Zay) in Chinatown, sit down on the rooftop of the Ambassador building and enjoy  the sparkling stars over this night spots. They have a trendy buffet and the usual beers and drinks plus plenty of pretty ladies.

This is a great place to enjoy dinner, a night view of the Shwedagon Pagoda an amazing sunset and then unwind with an evening of dancing and chasing the ladies at JJ Entertainment and Asia Entertainment City which is just about a 20 minutes taxi ride away.

There are 3 major nightlife spots in the city, one is here, another is at Ahlone Road around the International Hotel & Summit Parkview Hotel and the third is at Chinatown as indicated above. If someone wants to do some speed dating the best places are the two indicated here.
