Andaman Sea

Andaman Sea, Indian Ocean and tropical

called Silita. In 1891 census report
of Kawthaung Township, they were
called Silone.

District. They are called Besing by the
Malay. Thias called them Chao Talay or Chao
Lay ( men of the sea ), Chao Nam ( men of

weaving mats.

The islands in the Mergui or Myeik
archipelago
are in a very remote area, but easy
accessible from Myeik with the help
of some money and it needs some
time. All that is one of the reason
to make them interesting as a real
exotic vacation destination. There
are no vacation resorts only some
beach huts made from wood and palm
leaves and on the evening the fishes
and other seafood is grilled at the
beach grill, sounds like romantic
