Ngwe Saung Beach

This long stretch along of silver colored sand

is along the emerald waters of the Andaman Sea west of Yangon and Pathein or Bassein. This is also the western edge of the Irrawaddy Delta.

Just came back after a week of pure relaxation and excitement, a week in Ngwe Saung one of the top beach destination in the country always let your system be recharged, this stretch of a tropical beach at the Andaman Sea west of Yangon and Pathein or Bassein trigger these feelings.

Ngwe Saung is my favorite beach destination when in Yangon,

it’s not far there is not so bad road leading there, it’s pristine and has some good beach resorts I prefer it to Chaungtha. Spending a few nights at this silver colored waterfront (Ngwe Saung means Silver Beach) is a very quiet and relaxing pleasure truly secluded from everywhere.
There are several up market resorts at this location and this is not a cheap one.

Since Myanmar’s tourist arrival got a real boost

in 2012 hotel price went up noticeably everywhere they started to build new hotels but everything is still in the grip of a frozen bureaucracy which kills many activities before they even start seriously. This part of the west coast has ideal recreational areas, good hotels excellent restaurants and is ideal for the next holidays it’s something new, a great tropical experience in a natural environment with beautiful beach resorts.
