Yangon Chinatown at night
is a great
experience. After the sun is gone cool is
from the river moves into the city, its just
a short distance from Chinatown to the river
banks but its not possible to walk to the
water since there is the very busy and
stinky harbor road in between with trucks
moving constantly in and out this river- and
seaport. Here are
street markets, nightlife girls, entertainment, restaurants,
bars, nightclubs, shopping and more.
Yangon Chinatown
is a interesting multicultural destination
with lots to see and experience. The middle
income group of the Chinese Community of
Yangon lives in this part of the city.
Especial
interesting in the evening since the top

the center is Theingizay Road with plenty of
nightclubs, bars, restaurants, discos and
naughty girls. Try the Zero Zone Rock
Restaurant at the rooftop of the Ambassador

practically for every street market Yangon. In the
last decade cheap goods from China are at
all markets around including Buddha statues
which are often just placed at the roadside
for sale. Almost all small industrial goods,
tools and cheap clothing is from China.
There are open air markets along the main
roads very similar to Thailand plus
vegetable, flower and all kind of wet and
dry markets plus plenty of
Yangon street food,
but remember the

business
bars, clubs, lounges, nightclubs and
other night entertainment are at
various parts of the city but it is
most concentrated at Chinatown. A
usual major part in the nightshift
are the ladies for entertainment at
the bars, clubs and restaurants.

their show and hope that that the
